It has been a little busy around here, ( My baby turned 18 today!) so I haven't put anything on my blog in it seems forever. I was searching the internet the other day and came across a floor pouf on Better Homes & Gardens, so I thought Why not? Check it out on the DIY - Sewing page found on the right hand side. Let me know what you think.
Okay. I assumed a floor pouf was maybe a door catch to keep a door open. But then I thought, I'm not sure so what is a door pouf? Very cute one! Just cleared off my dining table to set up my sewing machine. Have lots and lots to sew. I have all Tim's dad's clothes and want to make quilts of them. Figure I'll pay for the shirts to made into quilts for Tim's two girls; but I'll sew all the denim into the kind of throw quilts where you see the raggedy seams on one side for his three boys. And have to make pillow covers for all the throw pillows in the living room to turn it from red to blue and green for spring. See you inspired me to get on it!!
ReplyDeleteFor me, it was a project and a way to use up some fabric that was laying around....LOL! For real, it can be used to sit on or a foot stool. That is a neat idea on the jeans. Mom was telling me that a friend of her did that as well. I have some pillows to cover as well. Send me pictures :)
